José J. Colón-García

José J. Colón García is a member in the Litigation Department.  He represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation at both the trial and appellate levels.

Before joining the firm in 2020, José Javier served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Maite D. Oronoz Rodríguez on the Puerto Rico Supreme Court.  He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico Law School, where he was Associate Director of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review.  José Javier graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Social Studies.
