Workplace, Health and Safety (OSHA)

Our practice in Puerto Rico encompasses the areas that are typically covered by practitioners in the United States (OSHA, FMLA, ADA and Worker’s Compensation).  Our counseling practice covers matters such as, government controlled worker’s accident compensation system, mandatory short term disability insurance, paid maternity leave, special protections for pregnant employees and breastfeeding protections.

We also provide our clients counseling on how to manage and prevent workplace violence, illegal substance and alcohol abuse and on the development of legally compliant testing protocols. Additionally, we assist clients in complying with federal and state occupational safety and health laws and regulations and protect them from the imposition of related fines.
