Dimitri González-Izquierdo

Dimitri González-Izquierdo is a member in the Labor and Employment Department. He joined O’Neill & Borges in 2006. Prior to joining O’Neill & Borges, Dimitri worked as judicial clerk of Associate Justice Hon. Francisco Rebollo López of the Puerto Rico Supreme Court (2005-2006) and as judicial clerk for Hon. Zadette Bajandas Vélez of the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals (2004-2005).

Dimitri’s practice includes advising and representing private and public sector clients in Labor and Employment Law and Litigation including, among others, discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour, drug testing, employment contracts, non-competition agreements, and labor aspects of reductions-in-force and plant closings. He also represents employers in connection with administrative claims before the Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the local Anti-Discrimination Unit, and in connection with the request of salary incentive programs provided by the government.

Dimitri is the current Chairman of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce’s Human Resources and Labor and Employment Law Committee.  From 2013 to 2015 Dimitri served as Chairman of the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association’s Human Resources and Labor and Employment Law Committee member.
